Cat Care: A Modular Course
DESCRIPTION
This course is offered online and divided into five modules, each with an accompanying lecture and study materials. Once you have purchased and paid for the course, you will have access to the materials for 14 days. The course, provided via an online learning platform, includes recorded lectures, quizzes, case studies, and other course materials. It is structured so that you need to complete one module before unlocking the next.
We recommend setting aside at least one full working day to go through all lectures and materials. The course includes many suggested readings, so if you wish to explore the topics in more depth and spend extra time on the case studies, we recommend allocating up to two working days.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This course is intended for animal caretakers, veterinary nurses, and veterinarians who want to learn more about the cat as a patient. Perhaps you find cats challenging to handle and want to learn how to work with them more easily and effectively, or you may already know a lot about cats but wish to deepen your knowledge. This course covers key areas for anyone working clinically with cats.
We explore what a cat truly is, discuss the importance of cat-friendly clinics and how to adapt for the cat’s well-being, special nursing needs, and how to care for both the emergency and senior cat — and everything feline in between!
For those already working at a Cat Friendly Clinic, this course is an excellent opportunity to collect your annual training hours — with 100% focus on cats! Take the chance to learn something new, refresh your existing knowledge, and gain practical tips, tricks, and new perspectives on feline nursing care.
